What
is the Family Information Network of Ohio?

The Family Information Network of Ohio (FINofOhio)
is a statewide parent network designed to keep family perspectives at the
forefront of Ohio’s Help Me Grow (HMG) system by offering support through
information and education to families of young children and the
professionals who serve them.
FINofOhio activities include:
FIN was recently awarded the prestigious
Pierson Award given by the Beach Center of Families and Disabilities to an
exemplary Parent to Parent Program of state and national significance. The
Ohio Public Images Award of Excellence was presented to FINofOhio for
FINfacts, its bimonthly publication for
families with young children.
Each of Ohio's eighty-eight counties has a
Family Information Network of Ohio Consultant. Your FINofOhio Consultant can...
- connect you with a Family Support
Specialist (a parent of a child who can offer you information and
support in your county)
- connect you with another parent whose
child has the same or a similar diagnosis as your child.
- Set up
educational sessions for families in Help Me Grow
